simple obstacle yet need complex solution

Today, as usual i need to download some measurement files via yousendit.

Because it’s weekend, i work at home and connected to internet via my trusted HSDPA “three” (hutch) network.

Unfortunately, when i inputted yousendit URL to download the files, the browser’s status said that it been connecting to a15.ysicdo002.com.

And it’s on and on, for like an eternity :(

First thing came to mind was : “sigh, just another routing issue”

Then i frantically trying to connect to yousendit via SSH proxy, which is failed. The website seems down.

And then another try via PPTP proxy, which is also failed, with the same symptom.

Sigh, it seems Rabb doesn’t allow me to work at home afterall... LOL

Then i try for SSH tunneling proxy, which are failed also.

Sigh sigh sigh....

Then i stumbled upon this blog http://gratis-gretz.blogspot.com/2011/07/ssh-port-22.html

Which gave me a solution (for the time being)

I won’t put the solution here, because i didn’t have the chance to ask for blog owner’s permission for copy-paste his content here.

Anyway, the SSH connection was successful, the a15.ysicdo002.com was “bypassed” succesfully, and i could download the files via my own internet connection (non-proxy)
